PARK SOOYOUNG

one :: born and raised in the a quaint village in jeju, sooyoung is the middle child among three siblings. both of her parents, successful in their respective lines of work, are active on their religious beliefs, something that they want their children to atone as well.two :: even if is the middle child, middle child stereotypes doesn't apply to sooyoung; she is, in fact, considered as the "princess" in the household due to the fact that she's the only daughter in the family (and something her brothers get the ick of). that doesn't stop them (and herself) to play roughhouse with their only sister whenever they get the chance to.three :: sooyoung realizes soon enough that, despite her healthy relationship with her siblings, father park is against of having a female child amongst his offspring (either because of his personal belief or that he's just a piece of ass, she's still uncertain to this day.) this has caused a drift with her relationship towards her father, an unseen cracks beneath the family's walls. her brothers provide enough fatherly figure for her so she feels she never missed out on it.four :: every attempt to try being closer to her father as much as her brother are to him becomes the weapon father park use against sooyoung. even if she isn't as naive as it looks, the younger version of sooyoung thinks it might be baby steps of the father figure accepting her (and yet no "obvious" improvement is seen throughout the years.)five :: as much as she never wanted to go to the city for college, deciding to start as a farmer, the relentless berating she receives from father park has somewhat encouraged her to; leaves her home when she's on her first year of college. her older brother is a big help when it comes to university finances and rent, even if it is against father park's wishes.six :: thinking that she will have her approval now that she graduated from the program father park wanted her to enroll in, it's hard to face such parental figure knowing that a "big" news has reached home. her brothers and mother park never fall short when it comes to showering encouragement and support; and sooyoung, as quick as she is to come home, is quick to move back to seoul to pursue her masters degree "all in hopes that father would accept her."seven :: with no plans on pursuing her psychologist license after her masters graduation, and without the urge to go back to jeju, sooyoung now lives in seoul — working part time jobs and sometimes babysitting her older brother's children whenever she can.facts and headcanons
— born in a christian household, sooyoung was forced to keep her relationship with a female classmate as a secret. until it isn't. the family's father figure was not happy when news broke out, his eternal disappointment the complete estrangement of their relationship.
— used to have a girlfriend during her university days. their relationship lasted until the first year in their masters degree (approximately one year together) and still considered each other as friends. sooyoung was invited as one of the ex's bridesmaids, something she accepted in a heartbeat.
— because of extreme need of money (and embarrassment to herself on relying on lucrative allowance she received from her older brother), sooyoung tried using adult sites onlyf@ns, for example during her college days as small source of income (though maintained her anonymity by streaming without showing her face.) she stopped when one of her friends joked that her physique is similar to the person they followed in such channels during a drunken situation (and later on confirmed that it was her the friend has followed.)
